Why do we need a wedding film? Are photos enough?
Plain and simple... photos capture the moment someone cries, laughs, or smiles. But why did they do that? That's what a film will show you. We'll make sure you don't miss any of those precious moments while you enjoy your special day! Be safe and book us for both the photos and videos!
cinematography or videography?
Cinematography is more of how you shoot and edit to tell a story. Videography is more about shooting and documenting. Both are fine but we prefer to tell a story!
Do you travel?
We love destination weddings! Take us somewhere breathtaking and we will create a timeless masterpiece for you! Travel fees may apply.
What's your payment plan?
We require 50% deposit to secure your wedding date and the cinematographers and/or the photographers. The remaining 50% must be paid at least one week from the wedding date.
how much should i budget for this?
If you decide to use us for both video and photo that would be 2-3 people for 8-10 hours, running around with heavy equipment and then editing everything to give you a priceless family heirloom that you will cherish for the rest of your life. You definitely don't want to cut costs on something you will keep forever! Any of our services typically start out at $2,000 and moves up depending on what you want. Contact us for more info.
Can i pick the music?
We absolutely welcome you to show us the music you want to use. We will always be honest with you and let you know if we feel the song is not the right fit! Most couples leave this big decision up to us.
When will I recieve my film and/or photos?
The film will be delivered to you via a private youtube link 3-6 weeks after the wedding. Photos 2-3 weeks after.
How do you film a wedding?
There is nothing more important to us than recording the story of the wedding day, the excitement, the laughter and the tears as they happen on the day itself. At certain times, we will give directions, but minimally not to disturb your natural actions on the day. This enables us to capture the day in the most natural way possible. We do our best to get the shot and get out. You'll hardly notice we're there!
What is a documentary edit?
A documentary edit showcases your entire ceremony and reception! All of the speeches, toasts, important dances, etc. will be in your documentary film. These are typically about 30-60 min long, depending on the length of your ceremony/reception.
How do you capture audio?
We use lav mics and attach them to the officiant and/or groom. They're strong enough to pick up the bride’s voice which is crucial for capturing the vows! If you have a DJ during your ceremony, we will simply plug into his soundboard to record the sound.
how long will the wedding film be?
We personally do not like to set a limit on the actual wedding film. What's most important to us is we tell the WHOLE story! So it can be a 4 minute film or an 8 minute film.
